Coastal Waters Forecast Area: Perth Local Waters Forecast


There are numerous places to sail along the Scarborough beach due to the shifting nature of the sand bars that produce the waves. If you are new to the area, best to check out where the locals are before going out.

The current and shore break make the launch about the trickiest in Perth. Best to head quite down wind with the current first to build up speed before going out through the surf.

There are rewarding rides on offer to those who make the commitment and the jumping is not too bad either. Definitely for the more advanced sailor.
