Coastal waters forecast area : Lancelin coastal waters forecast

An hour and a half from Perth known for it's wind from October until February.

Great for learner and professional sailors alike.

While the learners are sailing in the bay, the professionals can be sailing the waves.

A great place to learn waterstarting and gybing

A grass/weed fin would be an advantage.

There also some reefs about four hundred meters off the beach and a weed/wave fin usually clears them.

The wind is constant and if you have sails from 4.0 to 7.2 you will get a lot of sailing in.

It is easy to go get to Lancelin for an afternoon sail and still be back in Perth in time for the pub.

If you are staying in Lancelin, there are good pubs and good food all walking from the campsite or hotels.

On a good day the waves can get up to mast high so competent sailors can rip it up, and intermediate sailors can go sailing in the bay
